How to remove the obstacles that are blocking your success
By admin · Comments (0)
Simply changing the question you are applying to a situation will
dramatically change the result.
For example, many years ago I was struggling with trying to figure out
how to fund an idea I had for a made for TV movie. The problem was
that, at the time, producing a broadcast quality television program
required a lot more money than I had and, at the time, I did not know
how to find funding sources.
I was stuck for sure. I had my story treatment, a proposal, the
necessary knowledge and skills to produce the program, but lacked the
necessary funds.
At the time, I was listening to an audio program by, I think, Brian
Tracy. I have made it a practice to read and listen to personal
development information regularly. As I've written before, it's the
single most important action I've taken to improve my life.
This one simple act, taking no more than ten or fifteen minutes each
day, has contributed more to my present success than anything else I've
done.
The audio narrator asked what we refer to in the coaching profession as
a "Powerful question."
The question was something like, "Starting from where you are, with the
resources and information you have, what action might you take to move
toward your greatest goal?"
Talk about a life changing question! When I applied this to my dream of
producing a video program, I immediately realized something needed to
change if I was to ever realize my dream.
In looking at the resources I did have, instead of the obstacles, I saw
that I could accomplish my true outcome, which was and always has been
to communicate ideas and information that would help people, by simply
changing the medium I was planning to work in.
While I had little chance of mounting a video production at that time,
I did have the necessary skill and equipment to write and publish a
book. I began writing the story immediately.
While that particular story has not, and probably never will be
published, it was the first step that started me on the path to
becoming a published author.
This is something that has radically altered my life and enabled me to
touch the lives of more than a million people throughout the world.
It has given me a life beyond anything I could have ever imagined and a
personal satisfaction that goes beyond what words can describe.
All of this began as a result of simply changing the original question.
Here's my "powerful question" for you:
"What is the one obstacle standing in your way that, if you were to
remove it, would enable you to move toward your dreams?"
Here's the "bonus" question - "What could you change or modify in this
situation in order to move forward?"
And finally, "When will you begin?"

There's more opportunity than ever to earn more money online
By admin · Comments (0)
Are you one of the people who'd like to earn more money?
One of the things I've noticed lately is that a lot of the people I
meet are having a difficult time and looking for ways to increase their
income.
Since I typically will do what I can to help people 001_12- see
the possibilities and inspire theme to create a better life for
themselves, I find myself talking with them about the many ways they
could, for example, start a part-time business online.
The Internet today presents more opportunity that we've ever seen for
almost anyone who wants to earn additional income.
There are people, like Michelle Phan, who are earning significant
income by posting videos on YouTube. Phan, a young woman who was unable
to find a job as a makeup person with Lancome, decided to post her own
videos offering makeup tips, on YouTube.
She's built a following of more than a million people and her posts
regularly receive hundreds of thousands, if not millions of views. You
may be wondering how she earns income from this.
This is the amazing part.
If your videos reach a certain number of views, YouTube will partner
with you and, if you choose, place advertising along with your video.
They then share this ad revenue with you. In the case of many YouTube
"partners," as they're called, people are earning six figure incomes
from their YouTube channel.
Another one of my favorite examples is my young friend, Carl Ocab.
Carl, who lives in the Phillipines, has been earning five figures a
month (US) since he was thirteen years old! Now, at sixteen, he has
become a leader in online business.
These are just two examples of what people are doing online today.
The problem, as I've learned in speaking with people, is that most
people have no idea how to get started or what to do. They become
overwhelmed and stuck in place.
While it's relatively simple to get started, I realize it can be
confusing and I plan to create a series of "How to" videos and articles
to help, beginning in 2012.
In the meantime, there are some things you can do if this sounds like
something you're interested in pursuing.
For starters, think about what you know that you might share with
others. People are constantly searching for good information online.
This can then be presented through a blog, video's, Podcast or a
combination of all of the above. They can then earn revenue through
placing Google Adsense code on the pages, reselling affiliate products,
developing you own products, or a combination of all of the above.
Start now to learn about online and social media marketing. I've been
fortunate, mainly because of my position, to meet and befriend some of
the best, most ethical people in online business today. Because of
that, I can say that if an individual or product is recommended by me,
I will stand behind it.
With so many hustlers online, it's important that you know who you're
dealing with.
A great place to start or, if you're already in business a fantastic
resource, is the offer listed below. This comes from a couple of women
known as the "Wacky Gals."
I do not know them directly, however, they are colleagues of my friend
Alex Sysoef and I know that anyone Alex associates with is a good
person. Alex, by the way, has the free WordPress installation
service listed in the resource section of my web site. He will install
WordPress, the platform of choice for most people, on your site at. At
no charge.
Personally I think these women have, as the Brits say, "gone around the
bend," with all the content they're offering at such an absurdly low
price, but it's their gig. And many of these come with resale rights,
meaning you can actually earn income with them.
Learn More-
Please, if you're the least bit interested in this, and I hope you are
for your sake, do it now. The cost of this incredible bundle of
products is rising each day leading into Christmas.
Whatever you decide, if you want more income in your life, make this
the year you begin. Stop sitting on the beach. It's time to get your
feet wet. There is plenty of information available to help you and a
number of good people who are here to help.

What Your Business Can Learn From Panaera Bread
By admin · Comments (1)
food at Panera Bread- As I write this, I'm sitting in a Panera
Bread in Flemington, NJ. I happen to like Panera's. I like it a lot,
not just for the terrific food and wonderful service but for the way
they conduct their business.
We can all learn from them and many of their competitors in the food
industry would benefit from following some of their practices.
I especially like their fresh salads and choice of natural chicken and
other ingredients. Personally, I'd just as soon skip the antibiotic
laden chickens sold by most other food purveyors. If I want more
antibiotics, I'll take them myself.
Panera is proving that it's not only possible but profitable to serve
higher quality and support local food vendors when possible.
I like that their employees, for the most part, are pleasant, upbeat
people with a good attitude. As my long-time friend, Jeff Keller wrote
in his book, "Attitude is Everything."
To their credit, Panera employees deliver left over food to local food
pantry's on their own time. It's a great example of the power of each
of us doing a little something. The net result is huge.
And I also like that they collect donations for local food pantry's and
support other organizations who feed the hungry and partner with local
non-profits to help them raise money.
The rapid growth and success of Panera Bread is proof that it is
possible, even in today's business climate, to run an ethical business,
help your community, and still earn a healthy profit. Their
demonstrating that treating people with respect, both customers and
employees, adds to rather than detracts from the bottom line.
And they're proving that by doing the right thing, the right things
happens.
What about you?
Are you treating your employees as well as you can? It isn't always
about money. As a matter of fact, virtually every workplace study
that's been done in the past several decades has concluded that people
are motivated more by recognition than financial rewards.
Have you instilled in your people the value of a positive attitude?
Many successful companies credit their success to the fact that they
encourage their people to read motivational books and listen to audio's
as a way to maintain their upbeat attitude. Also many large
corporations have instituted Book of the Month clubs and provide
paperback books to their employees to make it easy for them to have
access to empowering ideas and information.
Are your products and services the best quality you can provide to your
customers?
Often, including a simple, inexpensive add-on to a product or service
can result in a more solid relationship with your customer, resulting,
over time, in more business for you. A small improvement in the quality
of your offerings may result in increased sales. All else being equal,
people prefer quality.
What are you doing for your community?
Several authors, myself included, have joined forces with local
non-profit organizations in order to attract more people to their
events. The result was more books sold, with a portion of that going to
the non-profit partner. A win-win-win.
Authors, Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen did this with their book
Chicken Soup for the Kids Soul when it was released and raised over a
quarter of a million dollars for children's charities through a massive
one day event.
These are a prime examples of the power of partnering for everyone
involved. Have you explored ways you can partner with non-profits in
your community in a way that serves everyone's needs?
Are you involved in community efforts to help those less fortunate and
raise the quality of life for everyone? Is there someway your "left
overs" and discards could be reused to help someone in need?
Building and maintaining a successful business begins with following
the Golden Rule: "Treat people the way you'd like to be treated." I
think that's simple enough for any of us to follow.
As more and more companies follow the principles espoused by Panera and
others like them, we will begin to see a shift that will, in time,
restore America the the stature we once held.

Who Else Ate Too Much Over Thanksgiving?
By admin · Comments (0)
I can almost hear the loud "I did, I did" coming from people as they
read this. I know for sure I did.
thaksgiving- After all, eating is what we associate with
Thanksgiving. That and, I hope, taking time to reflect on what we're
thankful for.
The problems is that, at this point, a lot of people who are trying to
lose weight or, at least wanting to maintain a healthy weight range,
have a tendency to think, "Oh, what the heck, I already blew it. What
's the point, I might as well just eat what I want and start dieting
after the holidays."
This is where people self-sabotage their prior efforts.
The key, the "secret" to successful weight loss is to get right back to
whatever program or system you were following.
If you gained a few pounds over the Thanksgiving holiday, so what? That
doesn't mean you just throw in the towel.
The key to success in any personal development program is to accept
setbacks and get right back to it.
This is as true for the person who's trying to lose weight as it is for
the alcoholic or drug addict who wants to stop using.
All twelve step programs advise their members to "just keep coming."
They know that some people, for whatever reason, will "slip."
The one's who do and use it as an excuse to keep going are the one's
who continue to suffer or worse.
Regardless of what you did over this past holiday weekend, get back to
your vision of who you're becoming and back on whatever path you've
chosen as your vehicle.
I know, for me, November 28th is not just "Cyber Monday," it's get back
to paying attention" Monday. If I don't, I won't make my Christmas Eve
goal.
Do yourself a favor and decide now that you're in charge of your life,
your health, and your well being.

Thanksgiving Message
By admin · Comments (2)
As long as I've been writing Jim's Jems I've made a point of writing a
special message for Thanksgiving. This has always been a happy time of
year for me but, since the loss of my Mother and Mother-in-law in 2000,
it's also a bit sad.
Today I've been reflecting on this holiday, what it means to me and my
memories of past Thanksgiving celebrations, both the good and the
not-so-good.
turkey photo-
Turkeys dropped by for a bite on their way out of town.
I've been recalling the years growing up, when Thanksgiving meant a
house filled with family, lots of fun and, of course, an assortment of
wonderful foods, lovingly prepared by my Mom and her sisters. Though
their all gone now, the memories remain.
I remembered the less-than-great Thanksgiving I spent alone in Chico,
CA, my only friend, Charlie having been invited to dinner somewhere. I
was sitting in a Chinese restaurant by myself with the exception of the
bartender, drinking vodka and eating wonton soup. Turkey dinners are
not typically on the menu of a Chinese restaurant.
In thinking about these two extremes I realized that one of the things
that enabled me to survive many of the lows I endured was being willing
to accept whatever situation I found myself in at the time.
I did not have to like it and, looking back, I could and probably
should have done something to change it, but not letting it spin me
into a depression was what enabled me to survive.
The reality is that we're all still here and as, my wise Uncle George
once said, "When you read the the obituaries if your name's not there
you're having a good day."
Hopefully you're enjoying a wonderful celebration with family or, like
us, with special friends.
Even if you are presently experiencing one of life's many challenges,
there are still things you can do to feel better.
For starters, look for whatever good you can find in the situation.
While my Chinese restaurant experience could have been viewed as
depressing, what made it bearable for me was observing that I had a
roof over my head and something to eat and drink. It was not perfect
but it could have been a lot worse.
Gratitude and appreciation - focusing on what's good - in any situation
is the fastest path to feeling better.
It's a fact that it is virtually impossible to feel gratitude and
self-pity at the same time. And self-pity is something to avoid at all
costs since all it does is make you feel worse and puts you into a tail
spin toward depression.
If you are depressed, do something about it. Talk to someone, a friend,
clergy, therapist or whomever. Do not sit and suffer in silence.
Depression is a real and serious condition.
Personally, my Thanksgiving ritual is beginning the day by writing my
"Gratitude" list.
Looking back over this past year, I have so much to be grateful for,
including all of you who support the work I do by reading my writing,
buying my books and programs, and sharing your lives with me on
Facebook and other social media.
I can't describe how fantastic it feels to hear from someone who has
applied something I wrote in their life and created a positive outcome.
That's what gives me juice. That's why I do what I do.
Sure it's awesome to be able to earn a living doing something I love
but it's knowing that I'm having a positive impact on people's lives
that gets me out of bed in the morning. That and, of course, our cats
looking for their breakfast.
You are important to me and I appreciate that you are in my life.
Whatever your Thanksgiving plans, even if you do not celebrate this
uniquely United States holiday, I wish you a happy and abundant
Thanksgiving.

Simple Weight Loss Tips that Work
By admin · Comments (3)
Recently, I Tweeted something about being happy that my jeans were
fitting more loosely and that I would be sharing my "Weight loss
secrets" here.
Let me warn you ahead of time. There is nothing for you to buy, nothing
for you to subscribe to and, yes, there are no real secrets to weight
loss or pretty much anything else you want t accomplish.
Shedding that excess weight, whether it's a few pounds or even a huge
amount, starts, like everything else, within you.
"As within, so without" is as true for weight loss as it is for the
condition of your finances or your relationships.
Within your own mind is where you begin.
Start seeing yourself differently
When I was struggling to shed that last ten pounds, after having, over
time, lost twenty-five, the main reason I wasn't succeeding was that I
kept looking at the fact that I had not lost the weight.
Only when I stopped doing that and stopped obsessing about it, did I
begin to make progress.
Self-help authority, Maxwell Maltz said, "Our self-image, strongly
held, essentially determines what we become."
Begin by seeing yourself as a healthy, lean person
Invest some time each day visualizing yourself the way you want to
look. You may even get a photo of yourself looking the way you'd like
or, as motivational master, Zig Ziglar did, paste a photo of your face
on the body you'd like to have. When he did that with an ad for
underwear, he commented that "they don't put fat boys in underwear
ads."
Of course, as with anything you want, you don't stop there.
Remember the Bible quote, "Faith without works is dead" You need to
take a proactive position.
What worked for me was making simple changes. I began by paying
attention to what I was choosing to eat.
Since we attract more of what we put our attention on, focusing on
making better and healthier food choices led me to doing more of the
same.
I took control of my food instead of the other way around. I stopped
eating things out of habit.
I vividly remember one day standing in front of an ice cream freezer in
my local organic food store, Kimberton Whole Foods, where by the way,
you can buy my book, "52 Ways to a Happier Life."
My "typical" habit was to pick out a pint of ice cream and toss it into
my shopping cart. On this particular occasion, since I was paying
attention to my choices, instead of blindly tossing in the ice cream I
stopped and asked myself what I really wanted.
In this case, what I wanted was a specific flavor, Mocha Java. Since
they didn't have it at the time, I chose to take control of the
situation and opted not to buy any ice cream. For me, this was a huge
change - going from buying ice cream just because it was there to
choosing only to buy what I really wanted.
This simple act has resulted in my cutting ice cream down from once or
twice a week to once every two or three weeks. The net result is the
loss of a few pounds, easily and effortlessly.
An added benefit is the sense of empowerment from taking charge of my
decisions instead of blindly responding to habits. Feeling good about
this simple action has enabled me to start focusing even more on
healthy choices.
Start noticing even the slightest progress
Weight Watchers members acknowledge and celebrate even a quarter of a
pound loss. They've realized, over time, that reinforcing positive
behavior contributes to success.
Again, since like attracts like, paying attention to the "evidence" of
your success will attract more of it.
One of the reasons I was stuck trying to drop that last ten pounds was
that I kept noticing how hard it was to do it. Only when I stopped
doing that and just relaxed into a "knowing" that I was reaching my
ideal weight did I begin to succeed.
Stop obsessing over how long it will take
Permanent weight loss is not something that one can accomplish with
crash diets. The billions of dollars spent on weight loss products and
programs, some as absurd as the old "Grape" diet have done nothing
other than exacerbate the obesity problem in America.
What worked for me was taking an approach of "I'll get there when I get
there," and putting my attention on making intelligent choices, rather
than being concerned with losing X pounds per week. As it turned out,
I've been averaging about one half to three quarters of a pound each
week.
Track your progress
Since I use my iPad and iPhone regularly, I'm using an app from Tactio.
For a minimal charge it will maintain a backup copy on the company web
site and send updates to all my devices. I weigh myself once a week and
track it there.
Whether you use an app or simply pen and paper, keeping a record is one
of the keys to long term success.
Virtually all people who have lost a significant amount of weight and
kept it off for more than a decade keep track of their weight and,
should they go above a predetermined threshold, return to whatever
program helped them succeed in the first place.
Do weight loss programs work?
Group photo-
Here I am, much larger, with Sanyika Calloway Boyce and Stuart Tan, at
the JV Alert Live event in Philadelphia
Most programs, especially those that are based on sound principles,
work.
A decade ago, when I had reached my own personal "weight threshold," I
joined Weight Watchers and, after losing twenty six pounds, became a
lifetime member.
Though I had gained some of the weight back over the passing years, I
never did go back to where I started.
The reason I chose Weight Watchers is that I had met people who
maintained their goal weight for over twenty years. Also I liked that
it was a lifestyle change rather than a "diet." I've never liked the
first three letters in the word "diet":-)
Something else I did that seems to have helped quite a bit is add a
simple amino supplement to my morning routine.
It was suggested by a body-builder friend of mine. The product, Amino
Fuel made by Twin Labs gives me a shot of complex amino acids first
thing in the day. I have no connection to this product or company other
than being a customer of their vitamins for many years.
I don't know the exact science behind this but am told, since it's a
protein supplement, it speeds one's metabolism which, in turn, burns
calories.
Whether you follow a formalized weight loss program or simply do it on
your own, hopefully the ideas I've shared here, and the tips listed
below, will help you take charge of your own health.
Tips for successful weight loss
- Create a clear vision of yourself looking the way you want and being
at your ideal weight.
- Determine, with your health care professional, your ideal weight goal
and write it down.
- Allow yourself sufficient time to reach it, assuming one half to a
pound per week of weight loss. Select your goal date and write it in
your journal. By the way, should you miss the date, as I did several
times, don't quit. Simply move the date and get back on track.
- When choosing what to eat, stop for a moment and ask yourself if your
choice will help or hinder your weight loss program.
- If it feels right for you, explore some of the leading weight loss
programs and consider joining one. One of the big pluses to programs
like Weight Watchers is the sharing that occurs at meetings. It's a
huge help to see you're not along in this challenge.
- Work with a nutritionist or health professional to determine what
vitamin supplements are right for you. Be sure to buy high quality
supplements. This is not something where you want to sacrifice quality.
- Keep a food journal and track your progress, noticing only what is
working. Do not obsess on what's not working, it will only sabotage
your success.
- Take your time and celebrate your wins. Reward yourself with non-food
treats whenever you reach a milestone.
- And, in the words of Winston Churchill, "Never, never, never give
up."

When it comes to reading, ninety eight percent of consumers prefer books over
coffee mugs
By admin · Comments (0)
52ways-150- A recent survey conduced by publisher and specialty
bookseller Austin Bay Publishing, found that consumers overwhelmingly
chose books over coffee mugs or pens when it came to reading
preferences. "It makes sense," explains Austin Bay spokesperson and
self-help author, Jim Donovan.
"After all," he quips, "how many interesting coffee mugs have you
read?" Yet companies continue to hand them out as promotional products
at trade shows and events.
"If you're like most of us, you have all the mugs you'll ever need and
rarely, if ever, read them. Coffee mugs are good for a lot of things,
like holding coffee or pencils, however, people rarely curl up in bed
at night with a coffee mug."
According to the Austin Bay findings, savvy 21st century marketing
managers are using paperback books as a way to keep their company's
name in front of prospects and customers. Books that tie into your
company's business and are well matched to your customer's interest,
make great gifts.
* They're inexpensive, in most cases costing not much more than a
decent mug or even a pen.
* They have a high perceived value and people appreciate them,
usually keeping them for a very long time.
* Books are unbreakable and easily mailed to your prospects and
customers.
* Most importantly, they increase your business.
One client of Austin Bay, a packaging company, used one of their books
at a trade show as a way to gain peoples attention. They built the
display of a couple of hundred books, and when people tried to buy
them, they were told the books were not for sale but, could be had for
free if they would spend a couple of minutes with a sales
representative. The company wrote three times more business than the
previous year at the same show.
You can learn more about the various ways you can use books as premiums
for your company from Austin Bay Publishing at jim@jimdonovan

Storm Victims Without Power - True or False?
By admin · Comments (1)
If you were among the hundreds of thousands of people who were without
electricity during last week's storm then you'll understand why I'm
writing this at this time. If not, bear with me and, hopefully, it will
make sense to you as well.
Why I'm writing this and what it has to do with my core expertise in
Personal Development will be clear in a moment.
storm damage photo- Sunday evening my wife, Georgia, and I were
staying at a local hotel. It seemed to be the most prudent thing to do
since our house was 50 degrees and we had no running water. As we were
checking in Georgia made a comment about how many of the hotel's other
guests looked as though they too were what she referred to as "Storm
Victims" and had "no power."
Being a teacher and writer of personal growth ideas and information, I
have become finely attuned to listen to the words I, and the people
around me use. Knowing that our words, in themselves, have power, I
choose my words carefully and, for the most part, use only uplifting
and empowering words to describe my life. This is why what Georgia said
had such a profound impact on me.
I understood, of course, what she meant and that it was simply a figure
of speech, however, as I said, I know our words have power so I called
her on her choice of descriptors.
If I take a step back and examine the reality of the situation, it is
true that we were without electric service and that, in our case,
without running water since we obtain our water from our well.
But, and this is why I'm writing this, it does not make us "victims" or
"powerless." I pointed this out to Georgia and, since we changed our
vocabulary, we are feeling less impacted by the events we are currently
experiencing. Yes, we are still without electric service but we are not
powerless, nor are we victims of any kind.
While this may sound like semantics it is not. Once you change the way
you describe any situation you are facing and, thus the words you
choose to describe it, the effect it is having on you lessens.
This is similar to the idea of amplifying words that describe good
feelings, like saying "great" instead of "good" when asked how you are.
Likewise, choosing less intense words to describe "less-than-great"
conditions lessens their effect on you. This is called
"Transformational Vocabulary" and was written about in a national news
magazine back in the 1990's.
The next time you're faced with a challenging situation, try describing
it in more empowering terms or at least not using words that will make
you feel worse.
Yes, we have been inconvenienced by this occurrence in our lives but we
are doing just fine and as the old sage once said, "This too shall
pass."
By the way, it is not lost on me that many people throughout the world,
even people reading this, do not have regular access to running water
and electricity. As uncomfortable as this has been, we are still
blessed to be living where we are and enjoying the life we have ben
given.

Economic conditions have little to do with your own success and well-being.
By admin · Comments (0)
This is an important concept to grasp.
We have a tendency to look at economic conditions as a way of
explaining and justifying why we may not be where we want to be. In
truth, one has little or nothing to do with the other.
piles of money, stacked high- Your ability to succeed is totally
within your control and is a result of your own thoughts, words,
feelings and actions. Whatever direction the economy is moving in,
whether in a downturn as it is at this time, or in an upward spiral,
there are always opportunities for the individual who holds true to her
vision to her ideal life.
It is this vision that will attract - through the powers of the
universe - that which is vividly imagined, as Napoleon Hill would have
said.
If you are watching the news and worrying about the current financial
problems, while you are engaged in doing this, you are in a similar
vibration and are likely to create a similar condition in your own
life.
If you must stay informed about what is going on, fine. If you're going
to watch the news, do so without getting emotionally invested.
Just sit back and, as you watch, think to yourself, "that's
interesting." It is possible to watch the news or read a newspaper and
not be emotionally connected to it.
Feeling bad for the people affected by what's taking place also puts
you squarely in the same vibration. If you can do something to help, by
all means, do it!
However, if not, get your attention back to your own ideal life's
vision and focus your attention on what you want in your life.
You may wish to see the other people having a better experience than
they are having but that's about all you can do because we each create
our own reality and we can only control the circumstances in our own
life.
It is crucial that in any circumstance, you're able to "flip" your
attention and therefore, your "point of attraction" to that which you
desire and away from that which you do not.
Notice, I did not say to try and fix it or change it, unless you can.
Simply turn your attention away, toward whatever you do want.
The fastest way I know to shift your attention and, as a result, your
vibration, is to make a list of what you are appreciating, what's
working, or what you are grateful for in your life. This simple
practice will immediately raise your vibration as a result of the
change in your focus and what your putting your attention on.
It is important, especially in these challenging times, that we are
watchful of our thoughts, words and actions. Keep your attention at
what you desire and refuse to participate in discussions about what is
wrong with our world. If you make a habit of doing this, pretty soon
you will start seeing improvements in your own life.

ABC News Asks, "What are you doing to make ends meet?"
By admin · Comments (0)
On their Facebook page, ABC News asks,
"What are you doing to make ends meet?"
What about you? Please share your comments.
I'm doing what I've been doing and teaching others, through my books
and seminars, for the past 15 years - focusing on what IS working, what
I CAN change, looking for the opportunities that are always around us,
regardless of the economy and realizing that my income, like everything
else comes from our Creator.
If you, the media, would do your part and start talking about solutions
instead of problems, things would begin to turn.
I do applaud ABC News for the "Made in America" series. This is a great
example of what can happen when we take a positive, pro-active stance
instead of being victims and "believing" there's nothing we can do.

Heads up: There's an ongoing spamdexing of Google searchbot algorithms. Sites that are 'copies of copies' and cloaked sites which include Zorgium keywords presented to search engine crawlers yet garbage content presented to human visitors were hosted on thousands of IP addresses and domains registered immediately after the introduction of Zorgium in November of 2009. The Hostgator/'The Planet'/Softlayer datacenters in Texas seem to be the epicenter of this activity in conjunction with anonymously registered domains of various TLD's but primarily .info domains at Godaddy which, in our opinion, has some sort of connection to the domains of goldmint.in and goldmint.org. Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.
ZORGIUM note to content providers: If you don't want your page to appear in Zorgium's search abstraction then put an exclusion for "Zorgium" in your web server's robots.txt file.
